As Director of our Audit team you will lead in dealing with a broad range of clients including owner-managed, family owned and international businesses, this role will work directly with our clients on meeting their various compliance requirements. You will be providing advice to owner managers on both business and personal matters and thereby act as a trusted business adviser to our clients. In combination with this, you will oversee all aspects of client engagement assuming overall responsibility for allocating work and ensuring client service is maintained at a high level. Day to day you will manage the end to end audit process, including budgets and timescales. You will be analysing complex business situations to identify key issues and priorities.

The ideal person will be an ambitious and qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA). As a Director, you will be expected to lead a high performing team of professionals and ensure their training/development is a key priority. The successful candidate will work extensively with the Partners of the firm, feeding into the firms growth strategy. As a leader of the department, you will input into the direction and future success of the firm by building on existing client relations and creating new opportunity with local businesses.
