Yvonne O'Connor

Yvonne has worked for over 35 years in the Financial Services Industry. On qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, she moved into the stockbroking industry where she worked in both Regulatory Compliance and Financial Management. She gained over 10 years’ experience in this sector before setting up her own Chartered Accountancy practice providing specialist audit, accounts and consultancy services to firms regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.

Yvonne has worked with several firms, both national and international, in setting up regulated entities in Ireland ranging from MIFID (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive) Investment Firms, AIFM (Alternative Investment Fund Managers),IIA Investment Business Firms (Investment Intermediaries Act) and IDD (Insurance Distribution Directive) Retail intermediaries. She has advised them through the application process and supported them when operating in a highly regulated financial services environment. She has an in-depth knowledge of the regulatory requirements and related Central Bank of Ireland returns and provides a proactive solution driven service when advising clients.

Yvonne is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, an affiliate member of the Compliance Institute and a member of the Securities Institute.
